The Climb on HBO Max aired television VOD style for Episode 1-3 last night January 12th, however on the reality TV show the rock climbing contestants are limited to first names and no bios but just a location. If you wanted to get to know the rock climber contestants a bit better and not just Jason Momoa and Chris Sharma’s narration, then here is a short bio of each of them.
Brad Burns
A Wyoming native, growing up in a town of 800 people called Story, Brad Burns has an unrivaled enthusiasm for climbing of all disciplines, particularly ice climbing. Brad is studying to be a doctor and will soon be treating your ailments as well as impressing you at the crag.

Alice Hafer
Is a mindset coach and writer. She limelighted in competitions when she lived in the UK and now runs a business as well as works in social media. She’s accomplished many outdoor pursuits in climbing, but all this was stunted by her father’s stroke back in 2018, which inspired a passion to speak out about mental health and recovery in sport and is now embodied in her mindset coaching business.

Texas and proud, Mario is the founder of the Sends and Suffers podcast as well as a prolific filmmaker and kids coach for the local gym. Mario is passionate about representing not only his state but being an inspiration for other black climbers on just how incredible you can be.
